Big slate of games for this weeks daily college fantasy football matchups on Saturday 11/7/2015. These are the QB picks for the Early Games. I think you can keep a tight range of QB selections on Fanduel in the 1 QB format. In tournaments, you’ll want to step outside the box a bit because I think the top QBs are priced pretty spot-on at this point of the season. However in cash games I think you should roll with the someone in the top group.
Here are the games we are picking from. No real big matchups, but I think targeting the matchups highlighted would be wise at the QB/WR spot
Duke @ UNC (-7.5) 58 o/u
Notre Dame (-8.5) @ Pittsburgh 53.5 o/u
Texas Tech @ West Virginia (-8) 80 o/u
Central Florida @ Tulsa (-16.5) 64 o/u
Kentucky @ Georgia (-14.5) 58.5 o/u
Vanderbilt @ Florida (-21) 36.5 o/u
Stanford (-16.5) @ Colorado 56 o/u
Arkansas @ Mississippi (-10.5) 54 o/u
Arizona State @ Washington State (-2.5) 66.5 o/u
Cincinnati @ Houston (-9) 73 o/u
Florida State @ Clemson (-10.5) 56 o/u
Iowa (-7) @ Indiana 60.5 o/u
TCU (-5) @ Oklahoma State 76.5 o/u
South Carolina @ Tennessee (-17) 58.5 o/u
UCLA (-17) @ Oregon State 57.5 o/u
Penn State @ Northwestern (-2) 40.5 o/u (Fanduel)
Rutgers @ Michigan (-24.5) 51 o/u (Fanduel)
Wisconsin (-11.5) @ Maryland 48 o/y (Fanduel)
Trevone Boykin – TCU
Oklahoma State has only given up 10 TDs all season and have 30 sacks … which is a lot at any level of football. Boykin has been comfortably delivering value across all daily sites. I don’t think there’s any real cause for concern, but this is a tougher matchup than normal.
Luke Falk – WSU
Throw out last week against a solid Stanford team, and I think you can pencil in 35ish fantasy points for Falk with upside into the 40’s. This is a good matchup for the most part. AZ State can rush the passer with 29 sacks on the season, so you just hope that doesn’t eat into Falk’s negative rushing yard stat too much.
Greg Ward – Houston
I like the matchup. I like the Vegas line. I like Ward as a guy who has a good week. The only problem is his price has really priced in a lot of his upside in this one. He’d need to have one of the best games he’s had this season (and Boykin, Falk … ect would need to brick) for you to get a ton of value. I think that makes Ward a solid cash game pick, especially because he could rival Falk/Boykin in production but his usage will probably be slightly lower …. which can be helpful in triple ups, or multi-enter type cash games.
Patrick Mahomes – TT
This is an above average matchup since good QB’s have pretty much lit up West Virginia. The team only has 12 sacks. Mahomes salary is probably just a tad bit lower than normal since he’s been somewhat inconsistent. I think he’s a decent option in tournaments since he has an outside chance at 40 fantasy points.
Brandon Allen – Arkansas
I think he’s an above average tournament option on DK since he could have a nice game in garbage time. The Ole Miss defense isn’t quite as good as it’s reputation, and Allen at these prices could deliver 5x salary which would be elite.
Dane Evans – Tulsa
Only a tournament play at this point since he has 4 TD upside, but he has dud potential as well. At these prices, if he gets 4 TDs – that should set you up perfectly for a big score. This is a great matchup against UCF who only has 2 INTs all season vs 22 TDs!!!!!!!
Skyler Howard – West Virginia
This is a great matchup against a team that has given up 302 passing yards per game, 21 TDs and only have 10 sacks!! Howard is a hot/cold type player, but is capable of about 30 fantasy points, which would be good value at these prices. His price is right on the edge, so you need him to deliver – but since this is a quality matchup the odds are better that he does.
