Note: This is for the Draftkings Friday November 27, 2015 slate of games listed below. I’ve listed the picks for the Early Friday Fanduel Slate in a separate post you can find links to here.
This is a pretty cool slate of games! The 2 QB format on Draftkings should make this pretty interesting in both cash and tournaments. This is a really tricky slate to predict as well – plus these games have bowl eligibility, rivalries, recruiting, ect … if you’re new to CFB DFS – prepare for the unexpected.
Navy @ Houston (-1) 61 o/u
Western Michigan @ Toledo (-8) 60 o/u
Marshall @ WKU (-10.5) 63.5 o/u
Miami @ Pitt (-6.5) 55 o/u
Missouri @ Arkansas (-14) 44.5 o/u
Iowa (-1.5) @ Nebraska 58 o/u
Boise State (-7.5) @ San Jose State 58 o/u
Washington State @ Washington (-6.5) 53.5 o/u
Oregon State @ Oregon (-36) 70 o/u
Baylor @ TCU (-1.5) 78.5 o/u
Tulsa (-7) @ Tulane 63.5 o/u
Vernon Adams – Oregon
Has completed 80%+ of his passes over the last 2 weeks. He was my cash game QB last week – but this week I think he’s really only a tournament QB since there’s more blowout risk in this game than against USC last week. This is a rivalry game … so sometimes the foot is left of the gas a bit longer because the recruits will be in attendance for a game like this.
Zach Terrell – WMU
In a slate full of tough matchups, Terrell faces one of the easier pass defenses. His team is an underdog so he might be asked to throw more late in this game. Toledo’s pass defense has given up 262 yards per game, but have held teams to 13 TDs. Most teams try to attack Toledo through the air as their run defense is above average. At these prices, I think Terrell is a cash game option since most of his upside is priced in a bit.
Chase Litton – Marshall
Has been really good the last 3 weeks, and I think he has a decent shot at 40+ passing attempts which would increase his upside potential. I think you can use him very selectively in cash games, and tournaments.
Phillip Ely – Toledo
Likely a tournament option because of his 4 TD upside. Western Michigan doesn’t pressure the passer much – as they only have 13 sacks all season vs 19 TDs. I think Ely will have time/room in the pocket to deliver throws this game.
Chris Johnson – Baylor
If he was near min price – I think you could load up on DK in the 2 QB formats. At these prices you need to think just a little bit. But I think you have to get exposure to Baylor QBs playing.
Dane Evans – Tulsa
Hit or miss even against weak pass defenses makes him a tournament options since he has an outside shot at 40+ passing attempts.
Jake Browning – Washington
Is always viable in tournaments since he’s capable of 4 TDs against this defense.
Trevone Boykin – TCU
You could pivot to Dane Evans on Draftkings, so rostering him in tournaments & waiting for confirmation that he’s playing is a possibility.
