Daily College Fantasy Football – QB Picks – Week 3 (Saturday)

The cream is starting to rise to the top in the college football QB daily fantasy rankings. Some clear winners are emerging and I don’t think you need to stray too far outside the box at this position. This week has some good matchups so I think you can fill out multiple lineups mixing & matching some of the QB’s I have listed below.

Week 3 – Daily Fantasy College Football RB Picks

Week 3 – Daily Fantasy College Football WR Picks

Wyoming at Oregon Ducks (-43)  – MARCUS MARIOTA
Looked real solid against a decent defense last week so Wyoming should feel like practice. Only real drawbacks are his price-tag and the face he likely will exit the game early.

Marshall (-20) at Ohio – RAKEEM CATO
His numbers have been solid and his team isn’t totally demolishing teams so he’s staying in the game.

UCF at Missouri (-10) – MATY MAUK
Another guy that won me some money last week when he had 6 total TD’s. Will he do that again? Probably not, but UCF isn’t a very strong passing defense so he’ll likely be in line for another solid day at a cheaper price tag than the elite QB’s.

Mississippi State (-14) at South Alabama – DAK PRESCOTT
This dude won me some money last week with 5 total TD’s so I’m a little biased. He isn’t as polished as other QB’s in the NCAA … but he’s an effective playmaker. Vegas doesn’t see this as a romp, so that’s probably good for Prescott.

Illinois at Washington (-15) – WES LUNT
TORE up Western Kentucky last week and faces a Washington team who’s pass defense is only a few ticks better on the rankings through week 2.

Rice at Texas A&M (-31) – KENNY FOOTBALL
One of the biggest O/U on the board this week. Kenny has been good in both blowout & SC week one. I think he’s underpriced on FanDuel this week in the late games even if he only plays 2 quarters.

Louisiana at Mississippi (-27.5) – BO WALLACE
His team is a solid favorite in this game and Bo has been prettty good this season.

Penn State (-3) at Rutgers – CHRISTIAN HACKENBERG
Faces a Rutgers team that is a very soft defense. He should put up solid numbers, you just hope the TD number is 3+ again.

Arizona State (-15) at Colorado – TAYLOR KELLY
Solid. Hope he plays 4 quarters and Colorado can stop the run a bit so he has to throw.

The team can’t really run, so Hudley will be the bulk of the offense.

Arkansas at Texas Tech (-2) – DAVIS WEBB
Arkansas’ pass defense is in the bottom third of the NCAA the first few weeks in terms of yardage and that’s after playing a cupcake week #2. Webb is off to a decent start this season and has 3 or more TD’s in each of the first 2 games.

Indiana at Bowling Green – NATE SUDFELD
Who’s the worst passing D in the NCAA? Bowling Green is. Teams have been KILLING them. The Virginia MILITARY put up 300+ passing yards against them last week. I worry that RB Tevin Coleman is such a beast that Sudfeld won’t have to throw much like week 1.

I’m not really recommending these guys …. but if you feel like totally gambling at the QB spot (which I don’t recommend doing) here are some cheap QB’s this week.

Georgia (-6) at South Carolina – HUTSON MASON
SC Hasn’t stopped anyone through the air. Problem is Georgia has a great running game so throwing isn’t something they do a lot but Mason is capable.

This is a total flyier pick there’s really no reason for, but if you feel like gambling hear me out. Boise State is one of the worst passing D’s in the country so far, the starter retired last week, leaving the job to Chandler – so he’s super cheap.
