Honestly, I think the late slate of the daily college fantasy football season this week is defined by if you have Leonard Fournette in your lineup or not. I’m not 100% sure I’m going to play much of the late slate yet, but if I do – I will likely be Fournette heavy because there’s slim pickings at the QB spot. Really if you can find a guy that gets you 2 TDs, you’re going to be happy. My advice with the QBs is to mix it up the best you can. Prescott to me is the ‘safest’ play, but his upside isn’t super high.
Michigan (-14.5) @ Maryland 43 o/u
Arkansas @ Tennessee (-6.5) 54.5 o/u
Colorado State @ Utah State (-4) 49 o/u
Eastern Michigan @ LSU (-45.5) 60.5 o/u
Mississippi (-7) @ Florida 51.5 o/u
Vanderbilt @ Middle Tennessee St (-1.5) 49 o/u
Arizona State @ UCLA (-13.5) 60 o/u
Mississippi State @ Texas A&M (-6) 63 o/u
Notre Dame @ Clemson (-1.5) 53 o/u
Oregon (-7.5) @ Colorado 69.5 o/u
Hawaii @ Boise State (-24.5) 53.5 o/u
Arizona @ Stanford (-14) 61 o/u
Fresno State @ San Diego State (-8.5) 54.5 o/u
Dak Prescott – Miss St
I think Prescott will be able to mitigate some of A&M’s pass rush with his mobility. Honestly you hope for more of the same with Prescott, about 2 TDs and about 20 – 25 fantasy points.
Josh Rosen – UCLA
Hot or cold type freshman QB. Last week Kessler ripped up Arizona State and if Rosen repeats last weeks performance he’s a bargain at these levels on Draftkings.
Joshua Dobbs – Tennessee
Boom or bust type player because most of his upside relies on his running ability makes him a safer play in tournaments.
Kevin Hogan – Stanford
Steay player that can usually get you 2 TDs .. at least that’s what you hope.
Brent Stockstill – Middle Tenn
Honestly, Vanderbilt is above average defensively, but we’ve got slim pickings on the QB slate during the late games +++ Stockstill is cheap with upside, making him a nice tournament starter.
Sefo Liufau – Colorado
Really risky playing Sefo despite the really good matchup. I like his value way more on DK where he’s only a shade over average salary. You basically will need him to have the best game of the year. But he’s not super expensive and it’s a way to get exposure to this game. Just keep your expectations in check & use wisely.
Vernon Adams – Jeff Lockie
I was burned by Adams in some lineups last week, but I’m going to bet on a bounce back. Problem is the QB situation is still questionable. If Adams is ruled out – I think you can sprinkle Lockie in a few lineups, especially as a #2 QB that has some upside. If Adams/Lockie are splitting time, I’ll avoid the situation. If Adams is ruled the clear #1 starter – I’ll also sprinkle him in some lineups, likely GPP’s where his usage rate might have dropped due to poor play, injury, and the Lockie risk.
Brett Rypien – Boise State
Kid looked solid last week. I wouldn’t go crazy starting him in a ton of lineups, but he has upside in this matchup against Hawaii as long as they don’t get up too quickly.
