There’s really 2 clear plays at running back – and one is a value play on Draftkings … so you’ll likely see a ton of overlap at this position. I’m not sure it will be worth going too far off the board unless you’re really feeling like turning a skill game into a gambling game. The best lineup this week might have some money left over too … so don’t feel compelled to spend all your budget if you feel you have a good lineup.
Toledo @ Bowling Green (-6.5) 69 o/u
Ball St @ Ohio (-8.5) 53 o/u
WMU @ NIU (-3) 61 o/u
CMU (-10.5) @ Kent State 40.5 o/u
Joel Bouagnon – NIU
I think it will be so easy to cut salary at QB/WR if you need to … Bouagnon will be highly owned in every spot. This is a great matchup and he’s clearly the #1 player at all spots in this slate.
Jamauri Bogan – WMU
I think you have to play him on DK at that price. This isn’t a cupcake matchup but he should get enough looks that it doesn’t matter.
Kareem Hunt – Toledo
I’m no coach, but I have to imagine toledo will want to slow Bowling Green down a bit by running the ball. Typically Hunt is in the 20ish carry mark. He needs to get you TDs for him to be worth it at these prices since he provides nearly nothing in the passing game.
James Gilbert – Ball State
Probably not a good tournament pick since I don’t think his upside is super high. However, at these prices if you really need to roster someone this cheap for your lineup to work in cash – I could see him touching value here because the game likely won’t get out of hand like last week. On the season Ohio has given up 5.1 yards per carry and 163 yards per game, so it’s a pretty good matchup too.
A.J. Ouellette – Ohio
Has started at Middle Linebacker this season. If they give this guy 15+ carries he should do really well. Problem is he’s not been getting consistent looks.
