LOTS of choices for RB this weekend. I think if you play cash games – spend time building your lineup around a core of RBs who rate to get 20+ touches since I think that will be the safest way to score in this slate. If you’re in GPPs … one strategy will be to don’t feel inclined to spend all your salary. If you have $1,000 – $1,500 left over, I wouldn’t worry about it too much as long as you have a really balanced lineup you’ve thought through.
If you play on Draftkings I think you’ll want to use your flex spots for RBs – especially in cash games since there’s more predictability at this position than WR this slate.

Derrick Henry – Alabama
Don’t be surprised if coaches don’t try to feed him the ball a bit to cap off a Heisman trophy since those are good for recruiting … not that Alabama needs help with that. This is a good matchup & I think you can build lineups where you can comfortably spend up for Henry in spots.
Joe Williams – Utah
You might be able to plug-in-play Utah RBs since they get a ton of carries. Colorado is a great spot for Williams to achieve value again.
Wayne Gallman – Clemson
Great matchup, only issue is he was held out last week. I think you look past all that and pay up for him in some tournament lineups since he has upside & possible low ownership due to injury status.
Devine Redding – Indiana
Not sure we’ll get an update on Jordan Howard before kick off but on the late swap DK site, it might be worth the risk. This is a really juicy matchup and whoever draws the start is nearly a must start.
Justin Jackson – Northwestern
Anyone who can get 35 carries is welcomed on my team. Road favorite. I think he’s a cash game guy since the total on this game is low.
Sony Michel – Georgia
Pretty solid cash game play nearly weekly since his upside is often just 1 TD.
Wendall Smallwood – West Virginia
I think you can go to the Smallwood well again in cash games on DK if you wish since this is a solid matchup again for him.
Doroland Dorceus – Memphis
This is a great matchup, only issue is he has 2 teammates that often get some touches too. Still I think you’ll want to take a look at the Memphis backfield this weekend.
Reggie Gallaspy – NC State
Dakwa Nichols – NC State
Don’t think you really need to go cheap at RB in this slate, but honestly this is a pretty decent spot for these guys to reach value as long as UNC doesn’t get out to a big lead.
Chris Hairston – ECU
Cincinnati’s pass defense has improved, but keep in mind Hairston isn’t a huge volume guy but is capable of a big game.
Justin Davis – USC
I think it would be wise for USC to run the ball against UCLA but what do I know. Never has reached 20 carries this season, so he’s a risky tournament option in my book.
Markell Jones – Purdue
