Here are the late game slate RB picks for today! Honestly, there’s a few extra games on Draftkings that includes a few key matchups, so I think you’ll find it a bit easier to fill out the RB slot on that site. There’s a few guys that rate to get 20+ carries as well in this one too, which is somewhat rare these days in college football.
Devontae Booker – Utah
Rare 30+ touch type player. My guess is Oregon is going to force Utach to throw (especially if the backup plays) but that shouldn’t slow down Booker all that much as he has value in PPR formats too.
Demario Richard – Arizona State
This guy BEASTED last week for 100+ yards rushing and 150+ yards catching, aided by a 93 yard reception. If ASU can somehow get a lead in this one, I’d expect a heavy dose of Richard since ASU still has depth issues in the backfield.
Marteze Waller – Fresno State
Expect a heavy dose of the run game for the Bulldogs, as teams have ripped up San Jose State through the ground. If you’re playing pure matchup – this is the best one of the late slate.
Tyler Ervin – San Jose State
Has some value in the pass game, and has found the endzone in each of his 3 games this season. Fresno State struggles stoppipng the run giving up 4.2 yards per carry and 156.7 yards per game.
Justin Jackson – Northwestern
He’s a 20++ carry guy so far this season, and his salary has been held in check a bit because he’s only found the end zone once. However, I like this matchup against Ball St.
Alex Collins – Arkansas
A 20+ carry day is likely here. At these prices you need 100+ and 1+ TDs to make it worth it, but Texas A&M is not strong stopping the run so I like Collins nearly across the board.
Kareem Hunt – Toledo
I have Hunt listed as probable heading into tonight, so just do a status check. I like this matchup too as Arkansas St has given up 4.9 yards per carry this season.
Nick Wilson – Arizona
Explosive player that can be used in lots of spots. The matchup against UCLA isn’t super easy, but I’d expect Wilson to get about 20 touches if all goes to play. He doesn’t provide much in PPR, but that can be a bonus if he does.
Tra Carson – Texas A&M
If A&M can build up a big lead, I see Carson getting 20+ carries in this one, which I think is about what he will need to make it worth rostering him against a fairly solid team.
Tre Madden – USC
Not a high-volume guy so he’s always a risk to throw up a dud + you need him to find the endzone. This is a quality matchup against Arizona State – which USC might run more than usual since the Sun Devils have had some success on pass defense.
Darian Green – Ball State
I don’t like this matchup all that much, but I love Green’s price.
Ralph Webb – Vanderbilt
Not an ideal matchup, but not impossible if Vanderbilt can stick to the run.
