Daily College Fantasy Football – RB/WR/TE Picks – Week 5 (Saturday)

So I’m going to combine the WR, RB and TE positions into one post this week, mainly because I haven’t been feeling well this last week and Dr’s orders are to rest. This is a list of value/matchup plays – so I’ve ignored the top players at these positions for the most part. Do NOT fill your lineups exclusively with these guys, by now you should know who the top guys are …. this list is for filling out your lineup once you select the top players and have a limited budget to spend.

Next week I should be back to normal …. so I’ll be back with a complete listing of the guys I like. Sorry about the lack of info … and if you’re not confident in your ability to select players, maybe play for less money this week or take the week off (like I likely will).

Running Backs

Western Kentucky – LEON ALLEN
I like this matchup against Navy and Allen has gotten 24+ touches in each of the 3 games this season and also has 1 TD in each of the game too. He also is a threat in the passing game.

Has scored a TD in each of the teams 3 games this season and is a value play on DraftKings. Faces Iowa St. who has given up 10 rushing TD’s and 221 yards/game this season to teams through 3 games.

Boston College – JON HILLIMAN
Do a status check on this guy, but his carries the last 2 games have been 19 & 20. He also has 2 TD’s in each of the last 2 games. Colorado St. has given up 212.3 yards/game + 5 total TD’s through 3 games this season to RB’s so it’s a good matchup. His price is super cheap on DraftKings as well.

Wide Receivers

Washington State Crew
Okay, so they throw 50+ times a game so it really doesn’t matter too much who the defense is. Isiah Myers, River Cracraft, Vince Mayle, Dom Williams are all viable plays. It’s tough to know who goes off, but usually all 4 will give you some production. On the flip side – Utah’s Dres Anderson is fairly cheap on DraftKings and could be used as well but to a much lesser extent than the WSU guys.

Not a TD muncher but he’s been solid and the team likely hasn’t had him on the field late in some of these blowout games.

Leads the team in receptions with 19 and faces one of the worst passing defenses in the country. Marken Michel is a distant second on the team with 10 receptions.

Tight Ends

Western Kentucky – MITCHELL HENRY
Had 7 catches for 128 and 2 TD’s in OT last game.

Florida International – JONNU SMITH
Has been fairly solid all season long.

Once again, sorry about the lack of info this week … I do these picks because I really enjoy it and it helps me fill out my own lineups on Saturday. I take this very seriously because I know people spend (risk) big money on these games each week … so half assing the picks is not something I want to do. I should be feeling better next week and will be providing the normal coverage in week 6. Thanks again for everyone that visits this site, I hope you can make some money because of it.
