Daily College Fantasy Football – WR Picks – Week 2 (Saturday)

Arizona State at New Mexico – JAELEN STRONG
Even in a blowout was able to rack up big numbers. He’s the teams #1 target.

Stud. WR Max McCaffrey was second in receptions with 5 last game for Duke.

San Jose State at Auburn – D’Haquille Williams
Sounds like he benefited last week when WR Sammie Coates was double-teamed. Auburn is such a huge favorite, it might not matter much – but both are somewhat affordable WR plays this week against a weak team.

Arizona State at New Mexico – JAELEN STRONG
Solid late game WR play, had good numbers in a blowout last week.

He’s is suffering the death of a family member this week and our thoughts are with his family. Lewis is an outstanding WR and has a good matchup. If he plays, it might be with some inspiration. If he does not, it certainly can open the door for teammates to step up.

Oklahoma at Tulsa – KEEVAN LUCAS
Went OFF last week for 13 catches and 233 yards + 3 TD’s against Tulane. Faces a good team this week, but if the coach keeps him in – could get some cheapy touches late in this game.

WKU at Illinois – Taywan Taylor – J. Dangerfield – Willie McNeal
This trio accounted for lots of yards week 1. While a let down against Illinois on the road is likey, all 3 have salaries at or below average value – so they still provie upside if they explode again. Taylor is currently 3rd in the NCAA in receiving yards.

Michigan at Notre Dame – DEVIN FUNCHESS
The defense might key in on him a little bit this week, but he was the guy last week with 3 TD’s.

Missouri at ToledoALONZO RUSSELL
This team has lots of threats at WR, and FanDuel doesn’t have them all listed. I think the safest play is Russell and I expect Toledo to be throwing in this game late.

Michigan at Notre Dame – WILLIAM FULLER
Caught a deep pass and the most balls for the Irish last week. A risky play, but he’s cheap.

Kansas State at Iowa State – TYLER LOCKETT
Was under-used in the teams 1st blowout win. He’s a top-notch WR and you hope this game is a little close so he gets more touches.

Fresno State at Utah – JOSH HARPER
He’s the teams #1 target and had a pretty good game against USC last week. Should find Utah an easier test this week.

Both are pretty solid late game WR options. SWR had 14 catches last week.

East Carolina at South CarolinaNICK JONES
Was a bright spot in USC loss on national TV last week with 2 TD’s. He should be a target again this week.

UAB At Mississippi State – DE’RUNNYA WILSON
This dude has a cool name, plus he’s cheap and he lead the team in receptions and yards in a week 1 blowout win.

Is a sleeper on FanDuel with a salary of $4,500. He’s currently 4th in the NCAA in yards with 184 and he had 2 TD’s.

Oregon State at Hawaii – VICTOR BOLDEN
Mannion did a good job at spreading the ball around with 5 different players having either 4 or 5 catches last game. Just based on the box score, I like Bolden the best because he tied for the team high in catches (5) and also was second on the team in russhing with 41 yards on 6 carries.

East Carolina at South Carolina – ISAIAH JONES
Is pretty cheap on the sites for a guy that caugth 10 balls for 150 yards last week. Appears to be the teams #2 WR. #1 WR Justin Hardy is also a viable play considering SC looked pretty bad last week.

Was on my list last week and looks like the main target. Faces a UMASS team that isn’t that great on defense.
