The addition of the WKU game and Tyler Boyd should make filling out the WR spot a bit easier on DraftKings this weekend. I’ve tried to include a nice mix of WR’s on this list … it’s not really in any particular order – but I tend to think the guys near the top are more consistent/steady type players.
Corey Coleman – Baylor
10 TD’s over his last 3 games and his price is down on DK from week 1.
Tajae Sharpe – Mass
I like his value on FD, but I like his production better on DK because he’s had trouble getting TD’s this year, but gets plenty of receptions & yards. Either way, his team rates to be throwing a lot and that only helps Sharpe.
Roger Lewis – BG
A better option in tournaments because if he hits – he hits huge.
Ed’Marques Batties – Mid Tenn
Great matchup and he comes in hot over his last 3 games. At these prices, expect fairly helthy usage rates.
Taywan Taylor – WKU
Affordable enough that it’s tough to not have him in lots of lineups. He’s been on a tear the last few weeks.
Tyler Boyd – Pittsburgh
Kind of an against the grain type pick here that can be useful in lots of spots if he does well. One of the lowest o/u total games on the board, but Boyd is still capable of absorbing the bulk of Pittsburgh passing yards. Game flow should be in favor of Pitt throwing late, so Boyd could catch some cheapies late in the game.
Jared Dangerfield – WKU
His production has ticked up the last 2 weeks to make his salary worth it under many cases. Teammate Tyler Higbee is viable as well.
Jakeem Grant – Texas Tech
Had his worst outing of the season last week, but still wasn’t terrible. Texas Tech is spreading the ball around a bit more than earlier in the season, so I will be monitoring Grant, but at these prices he’s not a terrible option.
Sterling Shepard – Oklahoma
Probably more of a tournament WR because he can lay some duds, but has a good matchup this week against Texas.
Jay Lee – Baylor
Boom or bust style player, but is often making some big catches.
Ronnie Moore – Ryan Burbrink – Gehrig Dieter
None are very consistent high-end plays, but could be useful if starting the BG QB. Keep your expectations in check, but if any of these guys hit a big play – it should be a big boost to your lineup.
Geronimo Allison – Illinois
Can be productive without catching a TD.
