I have a crap load of WR’s and it seems like I could have kept going & going. If you read my QB picks for this week – there seems to be some really good matchup of good passers vs teams that struggle a bit in pass defense. The game that jumps off the board is the Cal v UCLA … which has the potential to be a huge stat game if Cal can keep up. I don’t list any of the Cal guys, but you can roll with some of them if you want.
Week 8 – RB Picks
West Virginia – KEVIN WHITE
Has a TD catch in the last 4 games and 100++ yards in EVERY game he’s played … making him one of the most consistent WR’s in all of college football.
UCLA – JORDAN PAYTON
Cal has converted WR’s in the secondary due to injuries … and they were already the worst passing defense in the country.
Colorado State – RASHARD HIGGINS
Has been BEASTING with 9 TD’s over the last 4 games & tons of yards. Decent matchup against Utah St.
Alabama – AMARI COOPER
Like Nelson Spruce, came back down to earth last game where he only had 2 catches for 22 yards. His matchup against Texas A&M is a good one though this week.
Utah St – HUNTER SHARP
Solid WR here and faces a CSU team that isn’t super strong in pass coverage.
Cincinnati – CHRIS MOORE
Has a favorable matchup against SMU. Just double check that Kiel is playing. He’s a cheaper #2 WR with upside.
Colorado – NELSON SPRUCE
Came back down to earth with 6 catches for only 35 yards last game. USC will likely key-in on him but if you have the budget he can produce.
Western Michigan – COREY DAVIS
Faces Bowling Green – that’s about all you need to know.
SMU – DARIUS JOSEPH
Broke through with 13 receptions and 2 TD’s last week. He’ll look to keep that going. This guy has #1 WR talent and is priced nicely.
Michigan State – TONY LIPPETT
Indiana struggles a bit against the pass, and Lippett is the teams best WR.
Baylor – COREY COLEMAN
Has scored a TD in every game he’s played. He’s a little boom or bust, but is playable across all formats.
Baylor – ANTWAN GOODLEY
Is getting better after being out with injury early in the season.
Oklahoma – STERLING SHEPARD
Decent matchup here and he’s capable of a huge game.
Texas Tech – JAKEEM GRANT
Just based on the volume this team throws, Grant is a viable option especially in 1pt PPR leagues, although he has at least 1 TD 4 games in a row.
Western Michigan – DANIEL BRAVERMAN
See Corey Davis above, Bowling Green is a terrible defense.
RUTGERS – LEONTE CARROO
Faces Ohio State, but his team should be behind and throwing. Better in 1pt PPR leagues.
UCLA – THOMAS DUARTE
Again, faces Cal who is really bad. Thomas is pretty cheap and can be considered a cheap #3 WR with upside.
UCLA – DEVIN FULLER
See the other UCLA WR’s this week, he too can be considered a cheap #3 with upside.
Cincinnati – SHAQ WASHINGTON
I only really like him in 1pt PPR leagues, but he faces SMU so he should have some targets.
Ohio State – MICHAEL THOMAS
It’s tough to pick the Ohio State WR who gets the most touches, but Thomas has been decent and he’s not very expensive.
Cincinnati – MEKALE McKAY
Is the teams big-play WR so he’s not going to rack up a bunch of catches, but SMU can give up big plays in the passing game.
UCLA – ELRIDGE MASSINGTON
I wouldn’t stack you lineups with this guy, but if you need a super cheap WR, I like him as a gamblers play in 1pt PPR leagues.
SMU – DER’RIKK THOMPSON
Had 7 recptions last game, I only really like him in 1 pt PPR leagues though.
USC – NELSON AGHOLOR
I’d only use him in 1pt PPR leagues but has been getting more looks the last few weeks.
