Value is the name of the day at the WR position. Like most weeks in the NCAA it’s tough to pay up for WR’s not named Doctson or Coleman. TCU’s Doctson is questionable leading into Saturday’s game, and I consider him a risky cash game pick … but could be a spot where you could get him at low ownership rates in tournaments because of the injury/blowout risk to the game. Either way, I think you have a ton of options at WR this week and some of it will depend on how much you spend at QB.
James Washington – Oklahoma State
$5,700 Draftkings (Yum Yum)
$7,600 Fanduel (Kinda Yum Yum)
He’s not a lock to have a great game, but at $5,700 on DK it’s hard to not play him 100% every lineup. This is a great matchup so $7,600 on Fanduel isn’t super expensive if he stays hot.
Aaron Burbridge – Michigan State
Probably now only reaching full price on the daily sites, but I’ll still play him. He’s very consistent and this is a somewhat favorable matchup against Maryland.
Jaylen Samuels – NC State
$5,600 Fanduel (TE)
I think he’s too expensive to roster on FD since he’s nearly $2,000 more than the 2nd TE. At that price he’d need to deliver big time. In some situations it might be worth it, but against Florida State – I don’t think he’s really worth the risk. On DK, I think you can roster him for that price, especially because he rates to get touches in the run game if they can’t get him the ball passing.
Kavontae Turpin – TCU
I think if Doctson is ruled out, you bump Turpin up even higher.
Tyler Boyd – Pitt
Not as cheap as he may seem, but we all saw Duke get lit up last week by UNC. I’m sure they’ll bounce back a little bit but Boyd is a solid pick and can come close to reaching value without a TD. Doesn’t score enough 2+ TD games to make me really love him as a tournament selection.
Allen Lazard – Iowa State
Two score home underdog against a somewhat weak pass defense might mean Lazard gets lots of garbage time targets.
Kolby Listenbee – TCU
I think if Doctson is ruled out, I’d be less happy about starting Listenbee. Doctson draws the coverage over and Listenbee benefits. When he’s the guy, he gets locked down a bit like last week. Still, he’s a good option against a weak defense + you never know TCU could be ready to put a big number on the board after losing last week.
Will Fuller – Notre Dame
He’s a little overpriced for cash games probably because he plays for Notre Dame, but he’s good for tournaments. The only reason I list him is because I think he’s capable of a big play or two and he has 2+ TD upside.
Tre’ Parmalee – Kansas
I think if you’re looking to roster a near min priced player Parmalee could be a good option. He has upside since Kansas should be in throw mode in a blowout against TCU.
De’Runnya Wilson – Miss St
Just like Prescott, Wilson is reaching a price that is hard to ignore, even this week. This is a tough matchup so I might just wait another week to pass – but it might be a perfect setup soon with Prescott/Wilson stack because Wilson always seems to absorb TDs virtually every game.
Stacy Coley – Miami
Not an ideal matchup, but Maimi likely rates to be throwing late in this game.
Calvin Ridley – Alabama
I don’t love this matchup but it’s not terrible. He’s not an everylineup type guy but could deliver value in cash games if you need to dip this low in price. Doesn’t need to score a TD to reach value, so I don’t mind the low total for the game either.
D.J. Foster – ASU
I always seem to end up with Foster in my cash game lineups because he gets enough touches at this price point that I end up liking him over other guys who are less consistent. I don’t love the matchup, but the toches might be there again.
Ryan Switzer – UNC
Can’t ignore what he’s done the last two weeks, plus I remember rostering him last season. Will it continue?
Mack Hollins – UNC
If you have a tournament lineup with Williams at QB, I think pairing with Hollins is a natural choice.
Jeremiah Gaines ($3,100)
Joshua Perkins ($3,400)
Jordan leggett ($3,800)
All seem like viable TE’s to roster.
