Daily Fantasy NCAA College Football Picks QB – Week 14

We’ve got a decent mix of games starting Thursday, Friday and then going into Saturday this week. Many of the games are rivalry games, and several of the top QBs are going on the road this week. With the winter weather blowing in across the US, you should check the weather on these matchups before gametime …. just in case.

Week 14 RB Picks if you need them are here.
The WR picks for this week are here.

Johnny Football at Missouri
Johnny wasn’t too good last week, but this week he faces an easier opponent and should get back on track. The O/U is 67 and Johnny’s team is actually a 5 point underdog so he should be throwing all game.

Braxton Miller at Michigan
Goes to the big house, but his team is a 16 point favorite. Michigan’s defense has fallen off as its faced tough teams and Miller is rolling after 4 total TDs last week.

Bryce Petty at TCU
Not his best game last week, but still had 2 TDs and 350+ yards throwing. This week he faces a decent defense that has been able to keep WRs out of the endzone on a pretty regular basis. His team is only a 12 point favorite so he rates to be involved all game.

Marcus Mariota vs Oregon St.
Rivalry matchup, so you know Oregon St will be up for this game, but so will the Ducks. Mariota has some injury concerns, including a blow to the head last week but he’s recovered. 68 O/U and the Ducks are a 3 TD favorite.

Taysom Hill at Nevada
Good matchup here, Nevada isn’t the best passing defense. O/U is 64 and BYU is a 14.5 point favorite. Hill has been a bit up/down which keeps his price in check … your upside is 3 TDs in this one.

Taylor Kelly vs Arizona
Another rivalry game, where both teams will be pumped up & nervous. Kelly faces an ok defense. O/U is only 60 but AZ state is a 10 point favorite in this one.

B.J. Denker at Arizona State
See Taylor Kelly above. Denker’s been a consistent option all year and his team is going to be down in this one at time, leaving him options to throw. He had 2 TDs and 100 yards rushing against a tough Oregon defense last week.

Marquise Williams vs Duke
With the other QB out, it’s turned into Williams’ show. He faces a decent team that has been on a roll but could have some upside given he’s a mid-priced option on most sites. The O/U is 60 in this one and UNC is only a 6 point favorite.

Tajh Boyd at South Carolina
Exploded last week in a cupcake – faces a real team this week on the road. His team is a 5 point underdog so he should be apart of the action the entire way. 58 O/U in this one.

Conner Holliday at Washington
Rivalry game. Conner’s team is a 16 point underdog so they should be trying to throw all game. He faces a decent defense that has faced tougher offenses this season.

Jameis Winston at Florida
Not the greatest matchup this week, Florida is pretty good against the pass. Only a 44 O/U in this one too. Probably doesn’t provide the upside you want from a QB at this price level.

Risky/Cheap Play

Neal Burcham at Houston
OK, so Garrett Gilbert is hurt and out. Burcham is a redshirt freshman and is getting his first start on the road. Houston gives up plenty of yards to QBs but has had success keeping the TDs down and actually get some INTs. Neal is a super cheap option, so if you feel like gambling with a QB, this could be your guy.
