Daily Fantasy NFL : Week 1

NFL Week 1

I think the Raiders – Saints game will be high scoring, also the Giants – Cowboys game has no favourite and so people may avoid that game.

Tonight’s late game & Monday’s game do not feature in this contest as well as the Panthers game which was on Thursday.

My team for today will be…

QB Aaron Rodgers – Packers $8,500

Rodgers is the most expensive QB on draft kings for today, in rotisserie drafts Aaron Rodgers is the 2nd choice QB after Cam Newton.

RB Eddie Lacy – Packers $6,700

Maybe a little too dependent on the Packers, however Lacy is the bookies fave for 1st TD of the game.

RB Doug Martin – Buccaneers $6,200

Martin should have a good game and help the points tick over; any TD should be seen as a bonus.

WR Michael Crabtree – Raiders $5,500

Crabtree will be rivalled by team mate Amari Cooper for targets however he should get a good number each game and hopefully he can pick up some good yardage.

WR Jordan Matthews – Eagles $6,700

The Eagles are favourites against the Browns, He had 4 games last year with at least 100 yards and hopefully he can get close to that number.

WR Mike Wallace – Ravens $4,200

Ravens are slight faves against the Bills and with a few injury concerns for the Ravens Wallace may get a higher number of targets.

TE Jason Witten – Cowboys $4,100

A future Hall of Famer, playing a position that should benefit from a rookie quarter back. I’m not going to concern myself with yardage but number of receptions.

FLEX Stefon Diggs – Vikings $4,800

Without Bridgewater the Vikings will be more run biased, but he had a really good rookie season.

D/ST Eagles $3,300

They are a fancied option in week 1 facing the Cleveland Browns; hopefully they can keep the Browns out of the red zone.

I may change Stefon Diggs, however this team looks to be well balanced and if the Packers rack up a big number of points this team should get plenty of points too.

Hopefully I can pick up a few TD’s and do look out for free entry tournaments. There are some available right now.
