Daily NBA Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Picks – February 20

It was the mother of all trade deadlines yesterday and we’ve got some real interesting sleeper daily fantasy basketball picks for you today. Since it’s still fairly early as I write this – I’ll likely update this page leading up to 4:00 PST, as I’m sure more news will break.

There’s an exclusive $1,000 Freeroll on DraftKings tonight that you can access via this link

Both new & existing DraftKings players can enter – however you must use the link because the contest isn’t listed in the normal draft lobby.

Looks like he’s the starter in Philly now with MCW gone. Canaan has some history with the Rockets and is a capable player. He’s minimum priced and I think you can risk rolling with him in more than 1 lineup if you need to.

Do not roll with him as a lineup wide type sleeper pick, but I could see using him in possibly one lineup tonight where you completely punt the PG position. He’s getting the start because D.J. Augustine was traded and Reggie Jackson is not ready to play yet. John Lucas is also on the team and should see some run. The coach will likely roll with the hot guy, and the Bulls are pretty solid, but this is a min priced PG that is starting.

It’s too bad this game falls the day after he was traded. I’m not 100% sure if he’ll even play in this game. However it’s against his old team and the Celtics do need production at PG despite having Bradley and Smart in that spot. Starting Thomas likely wouldn’t be smart across many lineups – but he could have a massive upside game given the circumstances.

This dude can fill it up if he’s given the minuets. With Arron Afflalo gone, it might open the door up for him. I’d like to get confirmation he is starting and if Jameer Nelson is ruled out – it might make for a real deep sleeper play here.

This guy will either light it up or stink it up – but he’s getting the start and with both Dragic & Thomas gone, it should open up some more shots for Green.

If he’s under average salary – I think that makes him a very viable player tonight due to Thad Young being traded and playing the Suns could yield more touches.

With both Kelly Olynyk and Jared Sullinger out for this game, I think Zeller will be called upon to deliver. He’s a nice low priced center you can roll with especially if you get confirmation he is in fact starting. Brandon Bass and Evan Turner could also be used in tonight’s game as well.

Hasn’t been tearing it up like he was earlier in the season, but his price should be low and with Enes Kanter now gone – he should see 25++ minuets as a starter and I like him tonight as a lower priced center you can roll with in many lineups.
