Daily NBA Fantasy Basketball Sleeper Picks – February 3

We’ve got another sweet day of NBA games. Yesterday we saw how much Peyton Manning is #1 overpaid, #2 overrated, #3 if you make 20+ million as a QB – it’s tough to win the Super Bowl and finally #4 Peyton isn’t any good when he has to come from behind (a la Tiger Woods). All I got to do now is collect from all the idiots that had Denver yesterday. Now that we’ve got 6 month of no football, it’s time to get focused on the NBA for the rest of the year.

G – Monta Ellis vs Cleveland
If you follow this blog daily, you know for the last 2 weeks or so – I’ve been rolling with the no-D Kyrie theory, and it’s played out almost perfectly every night. Monta was cold last week, but appears to be back on track – and tonight could be a big night for him.

G – Tony Wroten at Brooklyn
If Michael Carter-Williams is out tonight, Wroten is your guy.

G – Courtney Lee at OKC
Okay, so about 50% of grinders had him in last game (as expected) and he only provided about 20 fantasy points, so you should see a drop-off in guys playing him. He does have a tough matchup, but should get 35+ minuets.

A Brooklyn Nets Player vs 76ers
The 76ers are a terrible team, I mean if MCW is one of your best players – no wonder you’re bad. There are several options you can go with on the Nets that might provide a nice value play. Shaun Livingston has been playing decently lately, Mason Plumlee might get more mins. if Andray Blatche is out, and Deron Williams isn’t too expensive and has upside,

F – Jae Crowder vs Cleveland
Okay, so it looks like Shawn Marion is out, and amateurs would put someone like DeJuan Blair in (who will NEVER play more than 30 mins in a game due to prior knee injuries in college) …. so Crowder should get good minuets – but his talent level limits his upside.

C – Enes Kanter vs Toronto
Has been playing fairly well, and Derrick Favors appears to be doubtful for this game too – so Kanter could keep things rolling.
