BIG night of NBA action and there are plenty of sleepers at the guard spot. Remember, these are all guys under avg salary (or right around it) so make sure you stack your lineups with some of the stars who will be lighting it up tonight.
G – REGGIE JACKSON
I still see him on sites for just over average salary. He’s played 40+ minuets in every game he’s played this season.
G – JEREMY LAMB
If his shot goes down he has plenty of upside, and even if he can’t make shots – he’s been able to get some rebounds. He’s well below avg salary so I think he’s still good value.
G – IMAN SHUMPERT
His value is up since we first started mentioning him last week, but he’s getting enough playing time to still make him a solid sleeper.
G – EVAN FOURNIER
I mentioned him yesterday and he got you 35+ … he’s likely the same price again today so you just hope he keeps the hot shooting going against a weak NY team.
G – WESLEY MATTHEWS
Feels like yesterday again here – he’s going to be the same price and without Batum, he’s a good option for a player around avg salary
G – THABO SEFOLOSHA
He’s starting and should see good minuets. He appears to be minimum price, so you could do worse if you’re totally out of money, but he’s not a massive upside guy unless he knocks down the 3-ball. If you have a little more money, someone like Kyle Korver (who’s around avg price) could also benefit with DeMarre Carroll out.
G – ISIAH CANAAN – ZACH LaVINE
Okay, so if Patrick Beverley plays – I avoid both these guys. If he’s out then I could see playing either one as a minimum priced PG that could have upside.
F – SOLOMON HILL
Defaults as the cheapest Pacers player right now. Has played 37 or more minuets in each of the last 4 games. Not a massive upside guy though so he’s a lower-end sleeper.
