Well when in 2 of your 4 teams you have a starting pitcher who doesn’t play because of a suspended game, it’s pretty much a non-starter (no pun intended). And in another team a 2nd baseman was involved in that game.

To be honest, I checked the website about 20 minutes before 7pm ET and there was no status, so I went about other means of entertainment for an hour or so.

The only problems with daily fantasy baseball are the rain outs and multiple start times, but fuck it!

But onto Tuesday, And It’s not an easy slate to call.

I don’t like double headers, so the Mets vs Cardinals game(s) will be given a wide berth.

Felix Hernandez (SEA) $8,600

Ervin Santana (MIN) $7,800

Could both easily score 20 points each, at very fair prices for starting pitchers.

Onto the outfield and these 3 have good head to heads against their respective starters.

OF Jay Bruce (CIN) $4,900

Against the Giants starter Matt Cain he is 8 for 16 with 2 doubles, and is one of the hottest outfielders in the past week.

OF Tyler Goeddel (PHI) $3,200

2 for 3, not much history, but at $3,200 is good for the money. And I doubt he’ll feature in a lot of teams.

OF Michael Bourn (ARI) $4,000

10 for 21 lifetime versus Matt Garza, I’d be happy with a 2 for 4 day from him.

1B Joey Votto (CIN) $5,100

Against Cain he is 7 for 26, not great numbers but unless there’s a glaring pattern go with the best players available.

2B Jose Altuve (HOU) $5,400

1st half in points per game for hitters Altuve was 2nd overall with 10.94.

3B Manny Machado (BAL) $3,900

Machado was 8th on the same list as Altuve.

SS Eduardo Nunez (MIN) $3,900

I just like the Twins infielder at the price in this team.

C Jett Bandy (LAA) $3,200

In the last 7 days in my rotisserie league, Bandy has ranked 2nd of all catchers.

So ignore my advice, until I get back on track.

And another kick in the teeth is my rival wound up winning; I’ll let him tell you about it HERE

Machine Picks

I CRUSHED it last night. Earlier in the day I decided to switch back to Yahoo Daily Fantasy because I just felt too many sharks swimming around on FanDuel.

I got the lineup using RotoGrinders Lineup tool again. No modifications.
