Well somebody asked about my success rate, since we started the Man Vs Machine piece at the all-star game, you can see I’m marginally losing.
However I had a very good start to the year with baseball.
Also when I have lost, a lot of times I am within 5 points of placing in a good number of entries as well as trying to pick unique teams.
My stats for 2016 MLB so far
Contests Played: 524
Contests Won: 90
Win %: 17.18%
$ Played: $528.75
$ Won: $553.09
Profit / Loss: +$29.09
Highest Win: $125
Highest Place: 1st
Onto last night and Strasburg had an awful 1st inning in Colorado, Sadly he was in one of my teams and eradicated all the work Chris Archer did.
Last Night’s Stat’s
Contests Played: 4
Total Stake: $2.50
Paid places: 1
I must admit with my recent picks, I’ve been trying a little to hard, and to produce unique line-ups, without trusting my gut which has netted me two $100+ payments.
So today, I’m only focusing on games starting from 7.05 pm ET.
One of my teams will be….
P Madison Bumgarner (SF) $13,600
P Jared Eickhoff (PHI) $7,200
C Mike Zunino (SEA) $2,900
1B Steve Pearce (BAL) $3,300
2B Jonathan Schoop (BAL) $3,800
3B Todd Frazier (CWS) $3,500
SS Zack Cozart (CIN) $2,900
OF Lorenzo Cain (KC) $3,600
OF Adam Jones (BAL) $4,900
OF George Springer (HOU) $4,200
Not the most eye catching of teams, but Madison Bumgarner takes up 27% of salary on his own.
I can see this team with a total points score of between 110 and 160 points.
