Well David Price was epic last night, and Daniel Norris had a really good outing, both my pitchers combined for 62.85 points.
With Manny Machado & Ian Kinsler hitting home runs my teams total was 116.85 which was enough to win $2.
Last Night’s Stat’s
Contests Played: 2
Total Stake: $1.25
Paid places: 1
My team for Tuesday is as follows.
P AJ Cole (WSH) $8,200
Cole’s last time against the Mets was really good, only Asdrubal Cabrera got to him. Sadly in his last start against the Phillies he gave up 4 earned runs over just 5 innings. His season WHIP is 1.01 & his K/9 is above 9 at 9.51.
P Jose Quintana (CWS) $9,500
Not an easy decision playing Quintana as the Indians rank 4th overall in runs scored & 5th overall in batting average. However he did go 6 innings with 2 earned runs allowed his last time against Cleveland. His ERA is now at 3.13 but he should still post some good points.
C Matt Wieters (BAL) $3,000
Never faced Pomeranz before, in the last 7 days he’s gone 4/13 with 2 Home runs.
1B Adrian Gonzalez (LAD) $3,300
Facing Sabathia he is 7/28 with 2 home runs & 9 RBI’s, Hitting .291 for the season but with only 17 homers for the titan.
2B Scooter Gennett (MIL) $3,300
Facing DeSclafani he is 2/6 with a home run, over the past 7 days he is 5/16 with a homer.
3B Evan Longoria (TB) $3,600
Longoria has 32 homers for the season, Facing Stroman he is 8/19 with 2 home runs.
SS Chris Owings (ARI) $3,900
Facing De La Rosa he is 6/14 with a home run, over the past 15 days he has gone 16/48.
OF Mookie Betts (BOS) $5,500
Mookie is in conversation for the AL MVP, .313 average, 30 home runs, 23 steals & 104 RBI’s. Facing Bundy he is 3/5 with a home run.
OF Carlos Gonzalez (COL) $4,100
Car Go is 4/9 with a homer against Ray, over the past 7 days he is hitting .321.
OF Mike Trout (LAA) $5,600
Trout was hot 2 weeks ago, facing Walker he has amazing numbers of 9/11 (.818) 3 Home Runs and 6 RBI’s.
Hopefully my team should score around the 135 point mark, which is typically the total to aim for. I have a realistic chance of having 5 players hit homers, Of course if all 5 hit one then it’s pretty much certain that the team will place in the money.
