MLB PICKS : September 3rd

Last night,

My best team scored 151.05 points; sadly I had one guy not contribute that was Max Kepler.

Last Night’s Stat’s
Contests Played:
Total Stake: $3.25
Paid places: 1
Won: $3.50
Profit:  $0.25

But onto Saturday, 03 September 2016

Today sees some great pitching options,

Jose Fernandez (MIA) $12,000

The only Marlins pitcher for use in fantasy, “JoFer” has an ERA of 2.79.

Rick Porcello (BOS) $11,700

Could he win the AL CY Young? A record of 18-3 entering September has him in prime position.

Madison Bumgarner (SF) $10,200

His ERA sits at 2.49 and WHIP 1.04, he’ll always be worth a start.

Jake Arrieta (CHC) $9,200

Arrieta has looked like the Orioles version of late, 6 Earned Runs through 6 & 1/3 against divisional rivals is not good.

Tanner Roark (WSH) $9,100

The last time the Mets saw Roark he tossed 2.1 scoreless innings in relief.

Michael Fulmer (DET) $9,600

The last time against the Royals he went 8 innings only allowing 2 earned runs.

Rich Hill (LAD) $11,700

Hill earned a move to LA but blisters have kept him away, he was wasted in Oakland who are getting younger. However at $11.700 Hill is way too much.

My Team

P Jake Arrieta (CHC) $9,200

P Marco Estrada (TOR) $8,600

C Jonathan Lucroy (TEX) $3,700

Hitting 300 with 21 HR’s is well worth $3,700.

1B Hanley Ramirez (BOS) $4,600

Hanley only has 13 RBI’s to go for 100; he’ll probably be one of 4 red sox to hit that mark.

2B Josh Harrison (PIT) $3,600

Harrison is due, and is a good option for the price.

3B Josh Donaldson (TOR) $5,400

Donaldson was the best until the ASG; he then cooled but has got hot again this past week or so.

SS Elvis Andrus (TEX) $3,700

Elvis had a good night yesterday and he is picking a few extra points lately.

OF Jackie Bradley Jr (BOS) $4,600

Bradley had been cool, but he seems to be turning it around and is looking dangerous at the plate.

OF Carlos Gomez (TEX) $3,100

His average is going up all the time, and it started out horrid. I think the Rangers are a better fit for him.

OF Adam Jones (BAL) $3,500

Jones’ lifetime numbers against Sabathia, 19/67 – 284, 4 HR, 14 RBI’s. At the price of $3,500 he is well worth a play.

Look out for Yoan Moncada who made his debut last night.

I’d hope this team combines for around 150 points; it has players capable of double digit games, as well as 2 pitchers who could combine for 60 points.
