BIG night of NBA action tonight. I have a clear schedule for the first time in about a week so I’ll be back to playing a full schedule. I might even play some of the partial slates if I like the setups tonight. Today I have sleeper/value picks, some cash game suggestions and target scores for NBA daily fantasy basketball for Wednesday November 25, 2015.
Yahoo: 260 (Note: this is higher than typical)
Here are some cash game targets. I’m probably going to focus heavily on the Sacramento Kings in cash games. Keep in mind though, last time Cousins was out Gay was a disappointment as the two play well together. However, I think Gay has a high enough floor to make him suitable for cash games … just don’t think Gay is automatically a 50 point player because Cousins is out.
Fanduel: Rondo, Gay,
Yahoo: Gay, Rondo, Belinelli, A. Bradley, Kristaps
Here are some value guys. I can anticipate this this will grow quite a bit as NBA players are human … and many humans are calling in sick today. I’ll try to refine the list as the day goes on to the guys I really think have a good shot at going off.
G – Marco Belinelli
G – Rondae Hollis-Jefferson
G – Isaiah Canaan
F – Robert Covington
F – Omri Casspi
F – Cody Zeller
C – Bismack Biyombo
11/24 Recap: Last night was a perfect 5-0 for me, as my sleeper picks outperformed even what I thought they might do. I had to set my Fanduel Tournament lineup around 11:00 am, and my Yahoo cash game lineup was set on my phone in about 10 mins. If you are struggling in NBA DFS – I don’t recommend doing this! The more your win rate decreases – you should increase the time you spend filling out lineups.
Here’s my 1 tournament lineup on Fanduel. Clearly not a perfect lineup considering John Wall, Aminu, and Julius Randle all fell below expectations. However, Sefolosha was only 8% owned!!! I couldn’t believe that. He was a 100% lineup guy after seeing him start/play the other night, I guess 92% of grinders don’t actually watch the games. Avery Bradley was a 100% of lineup guy too after seeing him play the other night too. He looks great this season compared to prior years. Finally, DeAndre Jordan was a clear tournament center last night because Denver has 0 bigs that could hang with him (or Blake).
My Yahoo Cash Game lineup was better. I built the team around Bradley, Sefolosha, Plumlee, Arthur, Aminu – all guys who I mentioned on the blog yesterday. Outside of Aminu – everyone did great … even Arthur at 15.5 for a $10 player is more than acceptable. Going cheap there allowed me to roster Lillard and Curry (something I probably wouldn’t normally do in a tournament lineup) – who both came in under expectation, but considering my sleepers blew it out of the ball park it didn’t matter. The key takeaway – if your sleepers crush it, you’re going to have a good night. Also – as you can see – two lineups far from being perfect, but plenty good enough to get the job done. Can you say that about NFL, CFB, MLB DFS lineups??? That’s why I love the NBA.
