Last night was a big night for some people I’m sure. I kind of took my foot off the gas a bit … which I often do after a big winning night, but also when there are tons of stars to pick from. Tonight, there are less stars going … and I’m sure people will be trying to stack Curry, Harden, Davis as was the case in winning lineups last night.
Here is the target score I’m shooting for tonight. Fanduel is where you really need to build a lineup that is capable of big buckets. Yahoo/DK are about the same as most nights.
Building cash game lineups around these core of players:
Draftkings: Nerlens Noel,
Fanduel: Shroder, Giannis, Harden, Okafor
Yahoo: Harden, Curry,
Here are the sleepers/value guys that I think have a real good shot at providing upside value which is helpful in all lineups.
G – Marcus Thornton
G – Nik Stauskas
G – TJ McConnell
G – Dennis Schroder
G – Ish Smith
F – Dwight Powell
C – Dewayne Dedmon
11/6 Recap: It was just an OK night for me, coming off a really big night – I expected a little bit of a let down, so I actually played in less games. I also felt there were so many stars to pick from, unless you really picked correctly – you could get burned. My thoughts were to play tournaments with Anthony Davis since I thought he might be low-owned and he has 60+ point upside. Luckily I was correct about the 60+ points, unfortunately I should have paired him with more stars than I did. The winning lineup I saw in one of my tournaments had over 400 points, and they had Curry, Harden and Davis all paired with scrubs. Pretty amazing – and I should have tried to create a lineup like that but I thought a more balanced attack would be better. I might try both strategies again tonight.
Last Nights Results:
Tournaments: 2-1 (Fanduel)
Cash Games: 2-7 (Yahoo)
I should have moved off Randle to Sullinger like I wanted to. Drummond/McConnell hurt my chances big time. Thornton & Morris were playing old teams and I expected them to deliver. Thanks to Davis’ huge night though it was a winning lineup.
