BIG NBA slate of games tonight, should be an entertaining night to play. I’m still in the process of building out some lineups – so I’ll be updating to this page as the day moves along here.
Here are the target scores we are shooting for:
These are the cash game targets. Honestly there’s lots of different combos that you can go with at PF and PG. I would focus on the game-flows/matchups that you’re the most comfortable with. I’m personally going to likely spend down at SG/SF and probably Center in cash games since it appears the strength in this slate is at PG and PF.
Draftkings: Vucevic, Derozan, Lillard
Fanduel: Beal or maybe Giannis in spots,
Here are some value plays:
G – Cory Joseph
C – Jon Leuer
C – Gorgui Dieng
12/10 Recap: Last night was another light night for me because I only had about an hour to prep. I started trying to fill out lineups on Fanduel, but didn’t get very far so I decided to switch my focus to Draftkings & Yahoo since I thought maybe I’d like my lineups on those sites better.
My tournament lineup on Draftkings was centered around the Kings v Knicks game being on TV. Most people (including myself) would avoid Carmelo Anthony on a west coast back-to-back game. Normally I think Melo would take the night off a bit too – however like I said yesterday the Kings/Knicks game was on TNT – there was ZERO chance Melo laid an egg on national TV. Jack didn’t play down the stretch … that’s something to monitor (I wouldn’t play him in GPPs if he’s not playing down the stretch of games) – although this was a b2b for Brooklyn …. so I’ll wait & see.
My Yahoo Cash game lineup was even better. Yahoo was the only site I felt you could go more mid-range and it’s unfortuent I only got to enter this lineup in 1 $5 50/50 contest because if you want a lot of action on Yahoo you kind of need to be filling games as the day rolls along.
Results: 2-0 … yes I really only entered two contests – both lineups are pictured. Take daily fantasy basketball advice from anyone, but I don’t know of many people in this industry who are confident enough to post their lineups/results everyday. Keep in mind, while I only played in 2 daily fantasy contests – I watched most or all of every game last night.
I’ll be busy again today – so likely another one-or-two lineup type night … but I’ll be back at a heavier grind this weekend. Notice that in the sport I feel I have the biggest edge – I still force myself to 1-2 hours of research/lineup building … otherwise I only enter a small number of contests. You should employ a similar strategy on days where you are busy doing other things.
