Very light day of NBA action. I’ve got quite a few entries into the $3 millionaire maker on Draftkings, and I’ve got some NFL Freerolls on Fanduel for racking up FDPs in November. So mainly it’s an NFL day, but I certainly will dip my toe into a few of the GPP contests since its a short slate and you can differentiate your lineup with just one or two plays. Make sure you sign up for any GPP contest you want to play early though – since on Sunday’s they tend to fill up a bit faster.
Here are the target scores we are shooting for.
Here are some cash game targets. On a shorter slate like this – I tend to shoot for more upside (over consistency) since scores/rosters can be fairly similar.
Draftkings: Knight, Favors, Durant, Gasol
Fanduel: Hayward, Westbrook, Durant, Knight
Yahoo: Zach Randolph,
I think it’s a decent idea to roster a few of these guys so you guarantee yourself production on the higher-end tonight.
G – Terrence Ross
G – Cory Joseph
G – Rodney Hood
F – Jon Leuer
F – Mirza Teletovic
C – Gorgui Dieng
C – Bismack Biyombo
12/12 Recap: Last night was a down-round for me after what seemed like about a week of winning pretty consistently. I totally air-balled on Yahoo going 0-3 at three different stakes in cash games. I managed to only lose $2 on Fanduel last night, so it wasn’t financially bad …. however picking lineups that suck is not fun, but it happens. It’s nights like these where you have to remember – NBA lineup building is mainly based on my projections, which aren’t going to be accurate 100% of the time. However, if you are accurate at forecasting player performance … you’ll likely only feel like this once or twice per week.
0 – 3 Yahoo 50/50’s (-$8.00 ROI)
1 – 2 Fanduel Tournament (-$2.00 ROI)
Here’s my only cashing lineup from last night. Basically I made three lineups – one with exposure to Anthony Davis, one to Andre Drummond (ouch) and one that was a #YOLO type lineup with two 1% owned guys and Kristaps – who had an off night.
Basically I spent up at every position in one spot except SG where I felt Williams and Mayo would do about what they did to give you a combined 40ish fantasy points for about what that cost for 1 player. Miles was a let down, but everyone else had pretty solid nights respective to projections. Today, I’ll likely keep it kind of light because of the NFL and only enter a few GPP lineups.
