Main slate games tip-off tonight Sunday December 6, 2015 at 6:00 pm EST … so just make sure you’re working on your NBA lineups while watching NFL today. Also, you probably should pre-register for any GPPs you like to play in since they can sometimes fill up quicker today as tilting NFL owners fire off entries into NBA contests.
Target scores are down a bit tonight because there’s simply not a ton of games on the schedule.
Here are the guys we are targeting in cash games, which I think might be worth playing since the stars-scrub lineup might be tempting to less-experienced players, whereas the balanced model on a short slate should help you beat 50% of the field.
Draftkings: Wall, Zach Randolph, Brook Lopez, Durant
Fanduel: Klay Thompson, Thad Young
Yahoo: Zach Randolph
Not a ton of value. I think you want to be selective on a short slate. On Yahoo, there’s numerous min-priced guys, try to pick the ones in starting roles.
G – Lou Williams
G – D’Angelo Russell
G – Ben McClemore
G – Ramon Sessions
F – Stanley Johnson
12/5 Recap: I decided to fire off 20 entries into the Fanduel $2 $250k tournament since we had essentially an extra hour to prepare I wanted to put all my efforts into one tournament. Tonight I’ll return to a more balanced approach of GPP/Cash since it’s an earlier slate and it’s a pretty short slate too.
Results: 12 – 8 +$23 ROI
This was my highest scoring lineup – I’m not really sure it was my best lineup though. Most of the lineups that I cashed with contained Elfrid Payton, who was a great GPP choice last night since he had a nice price on Fanduel. In this lineup – I think I was trying to get exposure to Rondo, George and Carmelo – three guys that were only in 10% of my lineups (2 each). When I have a group of higher-end guys like that I’m fading, sometimes I like to just stack them up in a lineup because if I’m wrong for fading them – something like this can happen. Certainly Anthony wasn’t impressive as I thought, but PG and Rondo had exceptional games and those two carried an otherwise weak lineup.
Here are most of my results – some of my dud lineups you can’t see … even an iPad Pro isn’t big enough to capture 20 entries. The lineups that scored high – I was heavy on Elfrid Payton, Derrick Favors, Gordon Hayward, Jamal Crawford, and Lillard – who capped my upside a bit since he only went for about 30 fantasy points.
