Week 4 College Football Daily Fantasy WR Picks

WR is sometimes a difficult roster spot to pick. There are some absolute studs like Brandin Cooks and Mike Evans but on Draft Kings you need to draft 3 WR’s at least. You’ll need to find some cheaper and low end options to fill out your lineup. If you dig deep enough and look hard you can find some good options at WR. There are even more WR’s not listed that can be great plays this week, but here is the top 25 highest priced wideouts on Draft Kings.

NOTE: Salaries are from Draft Kings Daily Fantasy Site.

Brandin Cooks – Oregon State – $8,750 – STUD
Oregon State Beavers at San Diego State Aztecs
VEGAS LINE: Oregon State -11.5
Last Week: 9 Rec 210 Yards 3 TD
An absolute stud. Is also from Stockton, CA which makes him a tough guy. If you can afford to get him in your lineup, do it.

Michael Campanaro – Wake Forest – $8,250High Volume Receptions
Wake Forest Demon Deacons at Army Black Knights
VEGAS LINE: Wake Forest -3.5
Last Week: 16 Rec 177 Yards 0 TD
Was a beast in week 3 catching 16 passes. Wake Forest doesn’t run the ball that much so he is a good bet to get more touches in week 4.

Tyler Boyd – Pittsburgh – $8,000
Pittsburgh Panthers at Duke Blue Devils
VEGAS LINE: Pittsburgh -3.5
Last Week: 6 Rec 134 Yards 1 TD – 2 Carries 39 Yards 1 TD
This guy does a little bit of everything including getting a couple carries each game and returning kicks. He is a Freshman, so keep that in mind as he could be boom or bust certain weeks. Duke has played pretty well defensively this year so he is a risky pick at $8,000.

Eric Ward – Texas Tech – $8,000Goose Egg Last Week
Texas State Bobcats at Texas Tech Red Raiders
VEGAS LINE: Texas Tech -26.5
Last Week: 0 Rec 0 Yards
Got completely shut out in week 3 by TCU corner Jason Verrett. Wow. Ward is still the 4th highest priced WR on Draft Kings. Look for a bounce back game this week, but is still a risky option after getting goose egged. Perhaps check out the other daily fantasy sites that offer college football and see if maybe they heavily discounted Ward heading into this week because of his poor performance in week 3. If you can get a good value on him on another site, go for it.

Jeremy Gallon – Michigan – $7,750Facing Weak Defense
Michigan Wolverines at Connecticut Huskies
VEGAS LINE: Michigan -17.5
Last Week: 6 Rec 66 Yards
Had a quiet game after his bustout performance in a spotlight game against Notre Dame. UCONN has bad defense so this could be ripe for Gallon to find the endzone again.

Jordan Matthews – Vanderbilt – $7,750Go to guy
Vanderbilt Commodores at Massachusetts Minutemen
VEGAS LINE: Vanderbilt -32
Last Week: 8 Rec 106 Yards
Caught 8 of the 12 completed passes in the Vanderbilt game in week 3. Wow. He is the go-to guy, and while others will catch balls in what should be an easy Vanderbilt win, look for Matthews to get plenty of touches.

Marqise Lee – USC – $7,750
Utah State Aggies at USC Trojans
Last Week: 2 Rec 90 Yards 1 TD
Utah State has played pretty good on defense this year, but Lee is a dynamic player who is poised to go off for a TD anytime he touches the ball. He’s a decent option to use in daily leagues.

Jaydon Mickens – Washington– $7,500
Idaho State Bengals at Washington Huskies
VEGAS LINE: Washington -53
Last Week: 8 Rec 51 Yards 1 TD
Has been consistently getting catches the first two games and will probably get some more numbers in this easy game. Washington has a good QB and RB so the ball will be spread around a bit.

Stephon Diggs –Maryland– $7,500Solid
West Virginia Mountaineers at Maryland Terrapins
VEGAS LINE: Maryland -5
Last Week: 5 Rec 110 Yards 1 TD
Is a stud at WR and has been really consistent the first 3 weeks of the season. He is athletic and his QB looks for him. Could be a good value at $7,500.

DeVante Parker – Louisville – $7,500
FIU Golden Panthers at Louisville Cardinals
VEGAS LINE: Louisville -42
Last Week: 4 Rec 50 Yards 1 TD
Has a great QB throwing him the ball and has caught a TD each of the first 3 weeks. Could easily have another TD or 2 in what should be an easy game against FIU.

Tevin Reese – Baylor – $7,250
Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks at Baylor Bears
VEGAS LINE: Baylor -27
Last Week: No Game – 2013 Game Log
Was a really good fantasy option the first two weeks of the season. This should be an easy game where Reese once again puts up good numbers. Not a bad price as he is likely to find the endzone.

Mike Evans – Texas A&M – $7,000Stud
SMU Mustangs at Texas A&M Aggies
VEGAS LINE: Texas A&M -28.5
Last Week: 7 Rec 279 Yards 1 TD
Absolutely torched Alabama last week and has really had a good season all year. This is a huge 6-6 guy that is a very difficult cover on the field. Very good value at $7,000 as Manziel will look Evans way a lot vs SMU.

Deontay Greenberry – Houston – $6,500
Houston Cougars at Rice Owls
VEGAS LINE: Houston -2.5
Last Week: 14 Rec 165 Yards 0 TD
Career high yardage and catches for Greenberry last week. Is somewhat risky because of that, but he has been really solid in fantasy the first two weeks.

Allen Robinson – Penn State – $6,500Stud
Kent State Golden Flashes at Penn State Nittany Lions
VEGAS LINE: Penn State -19
Last Week: 9 Rec 143 Yards 0 TD
Has been a stud the first 3 weeks with a TD in each game and high volume receptions. Very athletic guy who is hard to cover. Think anyone on Kent State can do it? Probably not.

Kasen Williams – Washington– $6,250
Idaho State Bengals at Washington Huskies
VEGAS LINE: Washington -53
Last Week: 4 Rec 58 Yards
Has had two not so hot games to start the year. This is an easy matchup for Washington this week and he might be even a better value on another fantasy site.

Shaquelle Evans – UCLA – $6,250
New Mexico State Aggies at UCLA Bruins
Last Week: 3 Rec 97 Yards 1 TD
They have a lot of weapons on UCLA and typically the ball gets spread around. Shaquelle has a lot of talent and could have a big game in a contest UCLA will put up a lot of points in.

Jared Abbrederis – Wisconsin – $6,250
Purdue Boilermakers at Wisconsin Badgers
VEGAS LINE: Wisconsin -24
Last Week: 6 Rec 87 Yards
Has been productive during the first 3 weeks of the season and last week was the first one where he didn’t score a TD. Solid option in daily fantasy leagues.

Kenny Shaw – Florida State – $6,250
Bethune-Cookman Wildcats at Florida State Seminoles
VEGAS LINE: Florida State -39
Last Week: 6 Rec 94 Yards 1 TD
Has had 94 yards the first two weeks. Easy game for Florida State this week so hopefully Shaw gets some touches in the first half before maybe sitting out if FSU gets up big against Behune.

Devin Street – Pittsburgh – $6,000
Pittsburgh Panthers at Duke Blue Devils
VEGAS LINE: Pittsburgh -3.5
Last Week: 5 Rec 80 Yards
His teammate is the 3rd highest priced fantasy WR on Draft Kings. Street has had good games the first two weeks and can be seen as a good mid-priced option if you feel like going with him.

Jamison Crowder – Duke – $6,000
Pittsburgh Panthers at Duke Blue Devils
VEGAS LINE: Pittsburgh -3.5
Last Week: 6 Rec 38 Yards
Can score on special teams as he did in week 1. Last week had a subpar game but is an explosive player.

Dom Williams – Washington State – $5,750
Idaho Vandals at Washington State Cougars
VEGAS LINE: Washington State -31.5
Last Week: 3 Rec 101 Yards 2 TD
WSU has a good defense and this one shouldn’t be much of a game. If Williams gets a TD then he is a good value option on Draft Kings at the $5,750 price.

Tony Jones – Northwestern – $5,750
Maine Black Bears at Northwestern Wildcats
VEGAS LINE: Northwestern -33.5
Last Week: 4 Rec 38 Yards
Had a big game in week 2, but was held down last week with only 38 yards. Jones has a good QB that can get him the ball, but Northwestern looks to run the ball a lot.

Amari Cooper – Alabama – $5,750
Colorado State Rams at Alabama Crimson Tide
VEGAS LINE: Alabama -39.5
Last Week: 2 Rec 34 Yards
Has had a real slow start to the season and had a poor game even in the high scoring Texas A&M game. He is a gamble because he hasn’t played well this year, but maybe he can get off against the weak Colorado State team.

Kenny Bell – Nebraska – $5,700Solid
South Dakota State Jackrabbits at Nebraska Cornhuskers
VEGAS LINE: Nebraska -24.5
Last Week: 6 Rec 68 Yards 1 TD
Doesn’t really put up huge yardage but is a consistent ball catcher. If he scores a TD he is a great value at $5,700. I won a bunch of games in week 3 by having Bell as one of my WR’s.

Brandon Coleman – Rutgers – $5,750
Arkansas Razorbacks vs. Rutgers
Last Week: 1 Rec 15 Yards
Another guy who was hyped to start the year but has put up mediocre stats so far in 2013. Had a great week 1 but has vanished since then. Rutgers went with another QB last week and have been running the ball a lot. Coleman will need to step up soon to be considered in daily fantasy leagues.

Devin Smith – Nebraska – $5,500
South Dakota State Jackrabbits at Nebraska Cornhuskers
VEGAS LINE: Nebraska -24.5
Last Week: 3 Rec 149 Yards 2 TD
Had a huge game vs UCLA and if you are feeling good about him again, get him in your lineup. Very athletic guy who is capable of giving you big points, but can be inconsistent at times.
